However, DORA also provides for one minor exception, namely the supply of traditional analogue telephone services.&nbsp;&nbsp;\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-13c2ca40 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"13c2ca40\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5><span lang=\"CS-CZ\" xml:lang=\"CS-CZ\" data-contrast=\"auto\">New obligations of ICT service providers in the financial sector under DORA. In a time of constant cyber threats, it is crucial to increase the digital resilience of financial institutions.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"CS-CZ\" xml:lang=\"CS-CZ\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><a href=\"https:\/\/data.consilium.europa.eu\/doc\/document\/ST-11051-2020-INIT\/cs\/pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DORA Regulation<\/a>\u00a0emphasises not only the resilience of financial institutions but also the security measures of their ICT service providers, who play an important role in the cybersecurity of the entire financial follows: digital and data services, including hardware as a service and hardware services that include the provision of technical support through software or firmware updates by the hardware almost everyone who supplies something related to information or communication technology to banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions.<\/span><span style=\"color: var( financial institution must carry out <b> thorough analysis<\/b>, including an assessment of the supplier's ability<b> to meet safety standards<\/b>. For key services, the assessment needs to be even more thorough. In addition to careful screening, financial institutions will have to keep <b>a register of information<\/b> on their suppliers with all contractual arrangements for the use of ICT services.<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">The contract may then only be concluded with ICT service providers that meet the relevant standards in information security (e.g. NIS2). Readiness for these changes will play a key role in maintaining financial institutions' confidence in the ICT services they provide.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Failure to comply with the new obligations can lead to<b>the termination of contracts with the supplier.<\/b>These will now include grounds for termination under DORA.
