General Terms and Conditions for events

These terms govern registration, participation, payments, and related matters associated with events organized by Cybrela s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"). The current version is available at: https://cybrela.com/vseobecne-obchodni-podminky-pro-akce/

Cybrela with its Head Quarters at Rybná 682/14, 110 00 Prague 1, ID No.: 17597943, VAT No.: CZ17597943; registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under File No. C 373718.

1. Definitions 

In these terms and conditions: 

  • Definitions stated in the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply; 
  • The term “Event” refers to in-person courses, trainings, lectures, conferences, and online webinars – essentially all events we organize and list on https://cybrela.com/en/events
2. How to register?

Orders (hereinafter also referred to as “Registrations”) for individual Events are accepted via registration forms in MS Forms, MS Teams, by email, or by phone. Applications are sorted by the order of receipt.

By clicking “Register,” “Order,” or similar in the registration form, you confirm your binding interest in participating in the given Event.

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided in the registration form. Any changes must be promptly reported to the Organizer. Upon receiving the order, the Organizer will send a registration confirmation to the email provided (hereinafter referred to as the “Registration Confirmation”)

3. Waitlist

If the Event is fully booked, you may be placed on a waiting list. We will contact you if a spot becomes available.

4. Price and Payment

Prices listed on the website exclude VAT. The price includes participation, materials, in the case of in-person events also refreshments.

The participation fee is due within 14 days of the invoice issue date, and no later than the date of the Event, unless stated otherwise. Payments are usually made via bank transfer according to the invoice details.

5. Cancellation Policy – In-person Events

Participation in in-person Events may be cancelled no later than 5 business days prior to the Event. You can cancel by emailing the address found in the registration confirmation.

  • Cancellation 5+ days in advance: 100% refund
  • 3–4 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee
  • 2 days or fewer: no refund

If already paid, a substitute participant may be sent, or a credit note issued. 

6. Cancellation Policy – Online events

Registration for paid online Events may be cancelled anytime prior to the start of the Event, but no later than 3 days before the Event. If already paid, we offer a credit for a future Event or a credit note (in the same form as the original payment).

7. Money-Back Guarantee

If a registration is cancelled in due time, we offer Events with a money-back guarantee. Refunds are processed within 14 days. In the case of repeated or clearly unjustified claims, we reserve the right to assess the request individually.

8. Changes to the Event

The Organizer reserves the right to change the venue, date, lecturer or form of the Event (e.g. from physical to online) – always with prior notification of the registered participants. In case of a major change of the Event, we allow cancellation of registration without cancellation fee.

9. Event Cancellation

If the Event is cancelled by the Organizer (e.g., due to logistical or capacity issues), the participation fee will be refunded in full or an alternative date will be offered.

10. Copyright

Materials and resources provided during Events are protected by copyright. Their distribution, modification, or commercial use without the Organizer’s consent is prohibited. Online Events and recordings are intended solely for the personal use of the individual registered. They must not be shared with third parties or companies.

12. Direct marketing

By participating in our Events, you agree that we may occasionally send you invitations to other Events or news updates. We do this in a reasonable scope (typically 1–3 times a month) and only if it’s relevant.

You can unsubscribe at any time – either by clicking the link in the email or replying to our email at info@cybrela.com. The legal basis for this communication is our legitimate interest.

13. Effectiveness

These terms take effect on August 1, 2025.
